MECA Unveils New Broadband (2-Way, SMA) 2-8GHz Power Divider for Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7

DENVILLE, NJ (January 2, 2026)– MECA Electronics’ new 802-S-5.000 Broadband Power Divider operates across 2.00 – 8.00 GHz frequencies, spanning the needs of S-band, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7 applications while delivering a finely tuned level of amplitude and phase balance performance – levels previously available only in narrowband products.

MECA designed the 802-S-5.000 with compact size, broadband capability, and precision performance to meet emerging Telecommunications needs in 5G and 6Glatforms. The innovation allows operators to streamline integration and production costs, while a 36-month warranty from the manufacturer provides operational assurance.

Since MECA products are fully designed and manufactured in the United States, the 802-S-5.000 answers the call for Aerospace and Defense Industry applications. With its 2-Way, SMA Wilkinson configuration and an operating temperature of -55°C to +85°C, 802-S-5.000 can even be screened and ruggedized for harsh environment uses.

Engineers at MECA are also nearing completion of a broadband, 4-Way power divider. Spokespersons for the company are hesitant to overcommit but hint that release could follow before Summer, 2026.
