MECA Develops Directional DC - Passing Power Divider

DENVILLE, NJ (July 2026)– MECA Electronics, Inc. has again expanded their line of Power Dividers to answer the ever-increasing demands of state-of-the-art RF / Microwave applications.

The new Directional DC – Passing/Blocking Power Divider from MECA will allow Engineers to design fail-safe system redundancies that pass up to 1000 volts of DC current at 1 amp through the same circuit they use to transmit their high-quality RF signals while blocking DC flowing in the opposite direction.

While MECA will make some variants of their new Series available in COTS, the products can be enhanced (COTS+) or custom designed to function in High Reliability (HiRel) applications as part of their ML Line. MECA’s ML Line of products are BAA-2029 compliant, certified to be designed, mined, and manufactured in the United States.  What’s more, ML Products from MECA can readily be ruggedized and screened to meet the unique and demanding specifications of Military, Aerospace, and Satellite applications.

This feature is also available on many other models upon request from Public Safety to WiFi 6/ C-band models. Such as the ones announced earlier in 2026 MECA’s Broadband Power Dividers effectively transmit signals across a 2.00 – 8.00GHz range of frequencies, yet they deliver finely tuned levels of amplitude and phase balance that were previously available only in narrowband products.

By internally integrating directional DC Block/Diode into the Power Dividers, MECA has answered the call for improved system integrity, increased versatility, smaller footprint, and lower overall operator and agency cost.
