MECA Extends 2-8GHz Broadband Power Divider Series with New 4-Way (SMA) Model
DENVILLE, NJ (July 2026)– Earlier this year, MECA Electronics announced they had developed a 2-Way Broadband Power Divider that could operate across 2.00 – 8.00 GHz frequencies with finely tuned levels of amplitude and phase balance previously found only in narrowband products. In that announcement, company officials indicated their intentions to follow up with a 4-Way extension to the Series by Summer, 2026.
Today, MECA announced its engineers completed development of the 4-Way model with the release of the
804-S-5.000 Power Divider.
Consistent with the Series’ charter, the 804-S-5.000 product is designed for all S-band, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7 applications, operating over a range of 2.00 – 8.00 GHz. This 4-Way Power Divider retains the Series’ compact size and precision performance to meet emerging Telecommunications needs in 5G and 6G platforms. The innovation allows operators to streamline integration and production costs, while a 36-month warranty from the manufacturer provides operational assurance.
Since MECA products are fully designed, source, and manufactured in the United States, 804-S-5.000 answers the call for Aerospace and Defense Industry applications. With its 4-Way, SMA Wilkinson configuration and an operating temperature of -55°C to +85°C, 804-S-5.000 can even be screened and ruggedized for use in harsh environments, including Launch Vehicles, Satellites, and future interplanetary missions.
