MECA’s New 100W Termination Delivers at 1/3 the Size

February 9, 2026 MECA Electronics announces the release of the 490-1-M02 Termination, their latest breakthrough in high frequency, miniaturized components ready for evolving data transmission designs.

Effective at frequencies up to 8.5GHz, 490-1-M02 fills new broadband and emerging WiFi7 needs in Telecommunications, Aerospace, and Defense systems. At a diameter of just 1.6”, the 490-1-M02 is less than 13 cubic inches overall, delivering hundred-watt performance in a footprint reduced more than 60% from previous designs. The new Termination can even be ruggedized for GEO and LEO applications.
